Correction standard
Revision is a feature of honest inquiry.
Scientific claims can be corrected. Wording can be improved. Metaphors must not be mistaken for formal science.
FUCEE will sometimes simplify difficult subjects for a public audience. Those simplifications should be labeled, kept within their useful limits, and revised when they distort more than they clarify.
Uncertainty should be disclosed. Factual corrections should be published. The earlier claim, the corrected claim, and the reason for revision should be clear enough to understand without ceremonial archaeology.
Disagreement alone does not establish an error. Evidence, reliable sources, relevant expertise, and sound reasoning should guide revision. Tone can also require correction when it violates the standing rule: question the claim; do not demean the person.

Discomfort is not a counterexample.
A correction requires more than disliking a conclusion. The same evidentiary standards FUCEE asks of intervention claims also apply to claims that FUCEE is factually wrong.
